Latin America’s airport sector is currently experiencing strong growth. Growing domestic demand in some countries is spurring airport-renovation projects, in addition to the construction of new airports.

Some of Latin American main airports have undertaken reforms to respond to the growing need for air connectivity, however, the capacity to handle nearly 1.100 million passengers a year envisaged for 2040 continues to lag.
